Hi Legends! Welcome to another exciting update from our Learning Universe! This February, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the latest additions to our ever-expanding array of math classroom games, designed to engage and inspire your students. If you missed last month’s post you can take a look at January’s update here.
Before we jump into these new games, we wanted to tell you briefly what you’ll find below: all of our new games are listed first with brief descriptions, followed by a few featured games with more information about them.
New Year, New Math Classroom Games! — February 2024
New in Grades 3-5

MathemAnimals — Elementary Math (Whole Number Multistep Word Problems)

MathemAnimals is a game where the player is in the shoes of a Zookeeper who has to receive and distribute animals throughout their Habitats by applying math: from addition to division. In their mission, students will learn to solve world problems using operations.
Decimalcon Defense — Elementary Math (Arithmetic with Decimals)

The Decimalcons are trying to invade Earth! Learn math with decimals to defend Earth in exciting space battles! Use your knowledge in addition and subtraction with decimals to charge the laser and defeat our opponents before the Earth’s shield disappears.
Kick It! — Elementary Math (Comparing Two Fractions)

Kick It! is a puzzle game where the objective is to clear all of the blocks in each level. Blocks are cleared by comparing the fractions written on each block, and then kicking the blocks into each other.
